<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of turnover water running caused by operation of an in-turnover cut-off valve, and to suppress splash of boiling water from the in-turnover cut-off valve through a steam port. <P>SOLUTION: A kettle body 1 including a water storage container 12 has a handle 3 and a hot water supply port 5. A lid body 4 closing the water storage container is provided with: a pouring path 15 communicating the inside of the water storage container and the hot water supply port; a steam passage 18 for discharging steam inside the water storage container to the outside from a steam discharge port 8; and a boiling detection steam path 19 for discharging steam to the outside through a boiling detection part 20 disposed in the handle 3. The steam passage and the boiling detection steam path are provided with in-turnover cut-off valve devices 24, 25, 26 closing the steam passage and the boiling detection steam path upon turnover. The in-turnover cut-off valve devices are configured by a pair of valves disposed in a state that the valves are distributed on both sides of a line connecting the hot water supply port and the handle to the line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
