<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door lock device capable of preventing a door from being opened by an impact despite an intention of a driver while achieving a reduction in a manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A main switch 87 detects door open information when a handle 8 installed at a door 9 is displaced from an initial closed position to an open position. Pieces of electric wiring 91 to 96 electrically connect the switch 87 and an electric motor 81. Switching means 50 switches the door 9 to an unlatched state by controlling a lock device main body 70 through being driven by the electric motor 81 which is operated by the door open information. An inertia member 200 is displaced from a normal position to an extreme position when inertial force F1 exceeding a predetermined value acts thereon. A sub-switch 88 electrically disconnects the electric wiring 96 and 97 when the inertial member 200 is displaced to the extreme position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
