<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel economy and purification performance of exhaust gas by accurately recognizing EGR amount and improving combustion in an internal combustion engine including an exhaust gas recirculation device. <P>SOLUTION: This EGR amount estimation device of the internal combustion engine includes: exhaust temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of exhaust gas and exhaust gas amount estimation means for estimating amount of exhaust gas flowing in a recirculation passage on the basis of the temperature of the exhaust gas detected by the exhaust temperature detection means in the internal combustion engine comprising the exhaust gas recirculation device including the recirculation passage for recirculating exhaust gas to an intake system and a recirculation control valve for controlling amount of exhaust gas flowing in the recirculation passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
