<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a solar cell protective material that imparts a satisfactory appearance to a solar cell module; and provide a solar cell module that can reduce the number of steps in a manufacturing process and also achieve weight saving by the solar cell protective material. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell protective material includes: a polypropylene-based resin film (film a) whose elastic modulus at 23°C is 1000 MPa or more and whose crystallization start temperature is 120°C or above; a film (film b) whose moisture vapor transmission rate according to JIS Z 0208 (Testing Methods for Determination of the Water Vapour Transmission Rate of Moisture-Proof Packaging Materials (Dish Method)) is less than 1.0 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/day; and a film (film c) whose melting point is 180°C or below.
