<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strange noise inspection method and a strange noise inspection device capable of excellently inspecting whether or not there are a variety of strange noises, with a simple construction. <P>SOLUTION: Noise generated by an inspection object is converted into an electric sound signal (S1), a sound pressure level every band in a prescribed width is calculated every frame in a prescribed time width on the basis of the obtained sound signal (S3), a feature amount is calculated on the basis of a change in a time axis direction of the obtained sound pressure level so as to determine whether or not a change of the sound pressure level is related to prescribed strange noise (S7), and it is determined in comparison with a reference value whether or not the calculated feature amount corresponds to strange noise (S8). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
