<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rotary electric machine capable of easily and certainly fixing a motor cover which is arranged on one side of a stator core in the axis direction. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes: a stator which is constituted by performing winding to a plurality of main poles of a stator core; a rotor rotatably provided to the stator via an air gap; and a motor cover which covers at least one of both sides in the axis direction of the stator. To the motor cover, an annular outer frame part with a part of the end edge contacting the end face of the stator core is formed, and a plurality of engagement pieces extended in the direction turning to the inside of the axis direction are formed. The motor cover is fixed to the stator core by engagement of engaging pawls formed at the tip parts of the respective engagement pieces into a step part of the stator core. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
