<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance device of a game machine which is capable of preventing downward displacement of a piece to be detected and appropriately detecting a position by a detection part. <P>SOLUTION: The performance device 100 of the game machine 1 includes a drive mechanism 120 for detecting the position of a movable body 110. The drive mechanism 120 includes: a moving member 160 extended in a horizontal direction; a connecting member 180 for moving the moving member 160 following the movement of the movable body 110; a piece 170 to be detected, that is formed at one end of the moving member 160; a detection part 190 for detecting the approach of the piece 170 to be detected; and a guide part 131c disposed below the piece 170 to be detected, and extended along the track of the piece 170 to be detected in the plane view in the state of having a prescribed gap from the piece 170 to be detected.
