<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation sensor capable of improving detection accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A case 10 for storing a plurality of hall elements 31, 32, and 33 and a magnet 20 is provided on one side in a direction in which a tooth projects out from a tooth bottom of a gear 2. The plurality of the hall elements 31, 32, and 33 is aligned in a generally vertical direction to a tooth muscle of the gear 2 when viewed from the case 10 side, and outputs signals corresponding to a magnetic flux flowing between the gear 2 and the magnet 20. A projection strip 40 provided on an end surface 13 on the gear 2 side of the case 10 between the plurality of the hall elements 31 and 33, can restrict the movement of a contamination adhered to the case by the magnetic attractive force of the magnet 20 in the aligning direction of the plurality of the hall elements 31, 32, and 33. Therefore, the hall element 32 outputs a voltage signal at a normal timing on the basis of rotation of the gear 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
