PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfur-containing organosilicon compound allowing a sharp reduction in hysteresis loss of a cured product of a rubber composition, and a sharp improvement in abrasion resistance, to provide a method for producing the same, to provide a compounding agent for rubber comprising the sulfur-containing organosilicon compound, to provide a rubber composition in which the compounding agent for the rubber is compounded, and to provide a tire using the cured product of the rubber composition.

SOLUTION: The sulfur-containing organosilicon compound has a hydrolyzable silyl group, a thiourea structure, a thiourethane structure and/or a dithiourethane structure.
