<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker box with high adhesion while suppressing a manufacturing cost and a disposal cost. <P>SOLUTION: A speaker box includes: a front cover 3 in the shape of a container without a lid; a rear cover 4 in the shape of a container without a lid, which forms a closed space inside by engagement with the front cover 3 between the open end peripheral edge portions of the respective covers; and a screw 5 for fixing the front cover 3 and the rear cover 4 in an engagement state. The front cover 3 has a recession 1 arranged over the whole opening end peripheral edge portion. The rear cover 4 has a projection 2 arranged over the whole opening end peripheral edge portion, which is to be engaged with the recession 1. The projection 2 includes two kinds of taper surfaces 2a, 2b which are adjacent in an engagement direction on at least one side surface, arranged over the whole opening end peripheral edge portion, and different at inclination angles.
