<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an ink composition for offset printing, the method in which a rosin-modified resin can be restrained from becoming low molecular weight compounds and a thermal energy loss can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the ink composition for offset printing comprises a rosin-modified resin-vegetable oil component mixture preparation step and an ink preparation step. At the rosin-modified resin-vegetable oil component mixture preparation step, the rosin-modified resin having 140-190°C melting point is synthesized, 4-31 pts.mass of a vegetable oil component is added to 100 pts.mass of the rosin-modified resin and the obtained mixture is agitated and mixed while keeping the temperature of the mixture equal to or higher than the melting point of the rosin-modified resin to obtain the rosin-modified resin-vegetable oil component mixture having 80-170°C melting point. At the ink preparation step, the ink composition for offset printing is prepared by using a pigment, a resin component containing the rosin-modified resin-vegetable oil component mixture and an oil component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
