<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image correction method capable of reducing a vertical shift between two right and left images obtained according to a subject distance and to provide a stereoscopic image photographing device. <P>SOLUTION: Both of an image for a left eye 'a' and an image for a right eye 'a' corrected by Δθ (mutual rotation angle difference) are rotated by an arbitrary angle Δϕ, to calculate a difference ΔY in a vertical direction between the image for the left eye 'a' and the image for the right eye 'a', in two feature points of an object 'a'. Both of an image for a left eye 'b' and an image for a right eye 'b' are rotated by the Δϕ and corrected, so as to offset the Δθ and the ΔY and a shift ΔY' in the vertical direction between the image for the left eye 'b' and the image for the right eye 'b' in the feature point of an object 'b' is calculated. On a plurality of arbitrary angles Δϕ, the above-mentioned operation is performed to obtain the Δϕ and the ΔY by which the ΔY' is minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
