<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that in a hermetic compressor with a conventional structure, provision of a valve cover shrink-fitting step causes an increase in cost for facilities and work steps, and an decrease in mass productivity as a result of a crack and deformation due to poor strength of a protrusion provided on an upper bearing. <P>SOLUTION: In a hermetic compressor including a sealed container 1 and a compression mechanism arranged inside the sealed container 1 and provided with a cylinder 2, a piston 4, the upper bearing 6 and a lower bearing 7 arranged so as to embrace the cylinder 2 and the piston 4, and the valve cover fitted to a recess 6b arranged in a flange of the upper bearing 6, a groove 6c is arranged in the outer periphery of the recess 6b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
