<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning agent of coke-producing waste liquid and a cleaning method of the waste liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The waste liquid cleaning agent comprises an alkali metal chloride or an alkali metal sulfate, or the mixture thereof. A first cleaning method includes processes of: (1) dissolving an effective amount of the alkali metal chloride or alkali metal sulfate or the mixture thereof necessary for depositing sediment into the coke-producing waste liquid containing water-soluble tar-like substances; and (2) separating and removing the sediment deposited in the dissolving process. A second cleaning process includes a contact process of the waste liquid after separation and removal of the sediment with an inorganic adsorption material, further added to the dissolving process and separating and removing process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
