<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate to be used for a backlight or the like, which has a thin thickness, can illuminate both faces simultaneously and in uniform luminance, and can illuminate from a rear face transmissive display devices, such as an information display device and a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate is provided with: a body having a first emission face, a second emission face opposed to the first emission face, and an incident face arranged at least on one of side faces out of the side faces between the first emission face and the second emission face; and an optical element which is formed on the first emission face and the second emission face, wherein a plurality of unit prisms formed in a straight line along a light guide direction are arranged in a direction crossing the light guide direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
