<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device for guiding a circular intersection in a mode matching a user's feeling. <P>SOLUTION: For smooth entrance to a circular intersection and exit therefrom, a navigation device is configured to: acquire a spot starting a change in a direction of a road, the change to a circular direction of the circular intersection as a reference point; calculate a direction heading from the acquired reference point to the center O of the target circular intersection as a road direction regarding an entrance road; calculate a direction heading from the center O of the target circular intersection to the acquired reference point as a road direction regarding the exit road; calculate an exit road direction of each exit road as a direction where a road direction of the entrance road is specified as an upper direction; and guide a passing direction of the circular intersection by defining the calculated exit road direction as an individual exit road direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
