<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system for a railroad vehicle, which detects abnormality of a door driving device and an auxiliary power unit loaded on the vehicle in an early stage, urges the maintenance of them, and improves safety, reliability and convenience. <P>SOLUTION: The monitoring system for a railroad vehicle includes the auxiliary power unit 14 for supplying control power to various kinds of devices inside the vehicle other than a main motor, the door driving device 16, and a vehicle information processor 12 for processing and transmitting information related to the state of the various kinds of devices including the auxiliary power unit 14 and the door driving device 16 at least. When such a state that the input voltage of the door driving device 16 is within a normal range and an input current is a determination value or higher occurs for a set number of times or more during the opening/closing operation of a door by the door driving device 16, the vehicle information processor 12 determines that the abnormality has occurred in the door driving device 16 and generates an alarm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
