<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric point machine that is excellent in maintainability and comprises a magnet clutch allowing for arbitrary torque setting. <P>SOLUTION: A magnet clutch 300 comprises a rotor housing 304 that is integrally formed with a bevel gear 124 engaging a pinion gear 122 of a driving shaft 202 and comprises a bottomed cylindrical space with an upward opening around a rotation shaft. In the space, a rotor part 370 comprising a flat annular hysteresis material 376 and a reduction gear 126 is pivotally supported, and an adjustment plate 340, on which a flat annular permanent magnet 350 opposing the hysteresis material 376 is laid, is screwed to an opening part of the rotor housing 304. Due to the stop position of the adjustment plate 340, the permanent magnet 350 and the hysteresis material 376 are moved closer to/away from each other to increase and decrease the opposing area, thus adjusting the transmission torque of the magnet clutch 300. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
