<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus capable of allowing a device main body to turn into a prescribed operation mode (e.g., notifying the danger or prohibiting operation) only when the movement involves a risk, thus, eliminating troubles. <P>SOLUTION: A portable electronic apparatus includes: display means 100 for visualizing unspecified information and displaying the information on a screen; imaging means 102 capable of periodically imaging the face of a user 101 present at a place possible to see the screen of the display means 100; detection means 103 for detecting the face of the user 101 from the image periodically imaged by the imaging means 102; calculation means 104 for calculating a time-sequence variation of a plurality of images including a detection target image when the detection means 103 detects the face of the user 101; determination means 105 for determining whether the variation is larger than a prescribed value or not; and control means 106 for turning the operation mode of the device main body into a prescribed operation mode when the determination result of the determination means 105 is positive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
