摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical master disk capable of reducing defects, a molding stamper, an optical disk, and methods for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: An optical master disk 100 is configured by including a substrate member 1 in which a predetermined rugged pattern is formed, and a tungsten oxide film 2 in which 55 (atomic %)<X<60 (atomic %) and Y=100-X (atomic %) when the atomic composition percentage ratio of oxygen is defined as X and the atomic composition percentage ratio of tungsten is defined as Y. A metal layer 5 is formed on the optical master disk 100, and a molding stamper 200 is manufactured by peeling the metal layer.
