<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system in which system interconnection is performed by connecting an engine dynamo system and a DC power generation source system and power conversion efficiency can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: A power generation system 10 comprises an engine 11, a dynamo 12, a first power conversion circuit 13 which converts AC power Pa from the dynamo 12 into DC power Pg, a DC power generation source 50, a second power conversion circuit 14 which regulates a first DC side DC voltage Ve connected to the DC power generation source 50 to be a second DC side, a serial circuit 15 which is configured to connect in series the DC side of the first power conversion circuit 13 and the second DC side of the second power conversion circuit 14, and a third power conversion circuit 16 which converts DC power Pin from the first power conversion circuit 13 and the second power conversion circuit 14 into AC power Pout.
