<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of improving degradation of a stereoscopic display performance due to cross-talk. <P>SOLUTION: A display device includes: a display part having plural pixels and displaying an image based on an input signal that is a signal for stereoscopic display, the signal containing, for example, information of a parallax amount; a level calculation part for calculating at least an average signal level of pixels in a predetermined zone around an interested pixel; a γ correction part for applying a γ correction to the input signal so that inclination of a γ characteristic of the interested pixel decreases as a distance from the average signal level increases; and a gain control part for gain-controlling a correction amount of the γ correction performed by the γ correction part in accordance with the parallax amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
