<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a length in the longitudinal direction of a non-printing portion without printing with ink of a base material. <P>SOLUTION: This printing device includes a control part. The control part separates a transfer roll 14 and a blanket roll 13 from each other and stops transfer of the base material W by the transfer roll 14 until ink within a supply recessed portion 11 transferred to the blanket roll 13 reaches a position opposing to the transfer roll 14 along with rotating movement of the blanket roll 13. When the ink on the blanket roll 13 reaches the position opposing to the transfer roll 14 along with the rotating movement of the blanket roll 13, the control part starts transfer of the base material W by the transfer roll 14, relatively moves the transfer roll 14 and the blanket roll 13 to make the rolls 13, 14 come closer to each other and thus, makes the both rolls 13, 14 abut on each other via the base material W, so as to print the base material W with the ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
