COLOR FILTER HAVING CAPABILITY OF POLARIZING AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter having the capability of polarizing and a method of manufacturing the color filter in the technical field of a liquid crystal display.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a color filter comprises: a step 1 of forming an intermediate layer containing conductor on a substrate; a step 2 of forming a photoresist on the intermediate layer; a step 3 of forming the photoresist into a photoresist pattern with a grating pattern of nanometer size; and a step 4 of using this photoresist pattern with a grating pattern of nanometer size to etch the underlying intermediate layer to form the intermediate layer into a black matrix and a polarizing structure having grating patterns.
