<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium for culturing animal cells, capable of supplying tyrosine and/or cysteine to improve the propagation of the animal cells or the productivity of an objective substance. <P>SOLUTION: This medium for culturing the animal cells is provided by adding one or more peptide selected from the following peptides including: (A) a dipeptide including L-cysteine, and a dipeptide dimer obtained by bonding the dipeptides containing the L-cysteine with a disulfide bond, and (B) a dipeptide including L-tyrosine (provided that alanyl tyrosine is excluded). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
