PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain highly accurate three-dimensional data with a simple configuration.

SOLUTION: A multiple lens system image pickup device comprises: imaging units (101-117) which pick up a color image; a plurality of imaging units (118-125) which pick up a monochrome image; a three-dimensional data calculation unit which calculates three-dimensional data of a subject on the basis of the monochrome image obtained by the plurality of imaging units which pick up the monochrome image; and a synthesizing unit which generates color three-dimensional image data which associates the three-dimensional data with the color image obtained by the imaging units which pick up the color image.
