<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing of a rotating electric machine in which the area of the opening of a breathing passage is stably secured and external form is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A side housing block 12B is joined to the axial end face of a generally cylindrical main housing block 12A having the inner peripheral part on which a stator and a rotor are disposed. The breathing passage 28 allowing a rotating electric machine side storage space 24 to communicate with the outside is provided so as to extend between the main housing block 12A and the side housing block 12B. A cylindrical positioning pin 31 having a through-hole 31a extending in the axial direction thereof is provided. A seal member 32 is interposed between the abutting faces of the main housing block 12A and the side housing block 12B. The positioning pin 31 is fitted so as extend between the end of the breathing passage 28 on the main housing block 12A side and the end thereof on the side housing block 12B side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
