<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever type connector with excellent handleability without inconvenience such as fitting failures of housings or detachment of a lever due to unexpected movement of a lever from a temporary locking position when the housings are fitted with each other. <P>SOLUTION: In a lever type connector 1, a temporary locking condition holding part 13 for holding a lever 30 at a temporary locking position is mounted to a first housing 10, to which the lever 30 is rotatably mounted, and a rib 24 for canceling locking of the temporary locking condition holding part 13 when it is abutted to the first housing 10 at a fitting start position is provided to a second housing 20 fitted and connected with the first housing 10. A feeling protrusion 25 is mounted to any of the first housing 10 and the second housing 20, the feeling protrusion 25 colliding with a mating housing before the rib 24 provides flexible displacement to the locking part at an initial stage of an operation for fitting the housings, and restraining fitting of the housings until a fitting operation force exceeds a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
