<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn a seat back with proper performance with respect to a seat cushion. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle seat 2 has a reclining device R provided with a reclining shaft 2r which serves as a rotational center of an operation for raising/reclining the seat back 6. The vehicle seat makes an occupant on the seat rotationally displaceable between a seating posture and a posture of lying on his/her back, by the operation for raising/reclining the seat back 6.
