<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently set an address of the acquisition destination of data for sampling. <P>SOLUTION: A programmable display device 2 stores, on data memory 26, plural pieces of data that are obtained by accessing internal memory, such as PLC 5, by specifying an address and have different data formats. An address setting-file generation part 33 generates an address setting-file the programmable display device 2 refers to when performing sampling. The address setting-file generation part 33 displays an address setting-image having plural rows corresponding to a word, each row including a data format setting-display cell and an address setting-display cell together with a row number display cell, for a storage zone segmented into word units.
