<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having an input function that can improve reliability, and an appliance. <P>SOLUTION: A display device having an input function includes a liquid crystal display panel 2, a touch panel disposed facing the liquid crystal display panel 2, and a frame 4 housing the liquid crystal display panel 2. The touch panel includes a base 31, a detection electrode provided on the base 31, and a wire conductor 35 provided on the base 31 and electrically connected to the detection electrode.
