<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin roll storage device which is easily accessible to a point of an abnormality when the abnormality is caused in a backward conveying part. <P>SOLUTION: A coin roll storage device characteristically comprises: a packaging part 36 to wrap loose coins to make a coin roll B; a coin roll storage part 30 where plural coin roll cassettes 50 of each denominations which can receive and store the coin roll B from a rear end part and can transmit the coin roll B from a forward end are lined up in the vertical direction; a backward conveying part 42 to transport the coin roll B transported to the appointed backward conveying position to the backward of the coin roll storage part 30; a lifting conveying part 48 to lift the coin roll B transported to the backward to the rear end of one coin roll cassette 50 in the plural coin roll cassettes 50; and a storage distribution part which makes the lifted coin roll B stored from the rear end part of the coin roll cassette 50.
