<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a purifying capacity with ultraviolet rays by using a rare gas discharge lamp as an ultraviolet ray emitting light source and forming helical passages in its inside and on its outside. <P>SOLUTION: The plurality of rare gas discharge lamps with straight tube type ultraviolet radiation parts on their light source installation parts are arranged such that the ultraviolet ray radiation parts are parallel with one another. The inner periphery side helical passage and the outer periphery side helical passage are disposed in the vicinity of the light source installation part. The inner periphery side helical passage and the outer periphery side helical passage are made of an ultraviolet ray transmitting material. The rare gas discharge lamp is an ultraviolet ray emitting rare gas discharge lamp having a glass tube with the rare gas sealed, and one pair of belt-shaped outer electrodes disposed facing a glass tube outer peripheral surface of the ultraviolet ray radiation part, and a non-outer electrode coating surface faces the inner periphery side helical passage and the outer periphery side helical passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
