<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly irradiate ejected ink with an ultraviolet lay by controlling the temperature of an ultraviolet irradiation part within a predetermined range. <P>SOLUTION: A droplet ejection device comprises: an ejection head configured to eject a droplet of ink that is cured by the irradiation with ultraviolet light; an ultraviolet irradiation part configured to irradiate the ejected ink with the ultraviolet light; a temperature detection part configured to detect the temperature of the ultraviolet irradiation part; and a control part configured to control the drive of the ultraviolet irradiation part based on the detected temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
