<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a ruler in a shape easy to pick up when it is used. <P>SOLUTION: A V-shaped cut is formed in a cross section of a side not usually used of the inside of a ruler, for example, a triangular ruler. When one picks up the ruler, one hooks his or her fingernail on the cut, so that one becomes able to firmly hold the lifted ruler by other fingers. For a chamfered ruler, the ruler is chamfered by an inverse angle to a cross section of a side not chamfered, whereby hooking of nails and fingers when picking up becomes good. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
