<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a use state of a wavelength of an optical fiber by managing an optical fiber serving as a transmission line on a network and the wavelength transmitted by the optical fiber in an integrated fashion. <P>SOLUTION: A device N1 as a WDM device, a ROADM device, or an optical cross-connect device generates information S2 N1λ by putting a signal name S2 of an input client signal, identification information N1 of the device itself, a wavelength λ1 of a signal output to the optical fiber, and identification information F1 of the optical fiber in a row. Similarly, a device N2 generates information F1λ1 N2λ1F2. Devices N3, N4 also generate information similarly. The respective devices transmit the generated information through an OSC to share the generated information with adjacent devices. Then the respective devices put the information generated by itself together with the information generated by other devices, and make wavelengths and the optical fiber correspond to each other according to results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
