<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmittance of a screen that is formed in such a manner that delta arrangement of pixels is established, video signal lines are formed every two pixels, and two scanning lines are arranged. <P>SOLUTION: Delta arrangement of pixels corresponding to red pixels (R), green pixels (G), and blue pixels (B) is established on a TFT substrate. Red color filters 201, green color filters 201, and blue color filters 201 are formed on a counter substrate corresponding to the red pixels (R), the green pixels (G), and blue pixels (B) on the TFT substrate, respectively. A black matrix 202 is formed where there is no color filters 201. Two blue color filters 201 are so formed that they are adjacent to each other in the first direction.
