摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which enables highly accurate focus detection of a phase difference system regardless of colors of a subject while keeping light receiving efficiency of a CMOS type imaging device. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging device including first pixels which receive light passing through a region of an exit pupil of a photographic lens, second pixels which receive light passing through a partial region of the exit pupil of the photographic lens, an electrode part provided on a photoelectric conversion part so as to cover a partial region of a photoelectric conversion part of the second pixels, and a light shield part which has an opening and covers a region different from the region covered by the electrode part of the photoelectric conversion part; and focus detection means for detecting the focus state of the photographic lens on the basis of outputs of the second pixels. The imaging apparatus further comprises: determination means for determining colors of a subject; and storage means for storing light receiving characteristics of the imaging device corresponding to the colors of the subject. The focus detection means detects the focus state of the photographic lens on the basis of subject color information determined by the determination means and the light receiving characteristics of the imaging device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
