<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polymerizable compound-containing liquid crystal composition which causes no precipitation within a wide temperature range, has high alignment regulating force of a liquid crystal after polymerization and causes no failure in display characteristics such as image sticking and which is used for a PAS (Polymer Sustained Alignment)-type liquid crystal display element, and to provide a liquid crystal display element having excellent display quality without display unevenness etc. and excellent display characteristics by using the polymerizable compound-containing liquid crystal composition. <P>SOLUTION: The polymerizable compound-containing liquid crystal composition includes at least one kind of polymerizable compound represented by formula (I) and at least one or two kind of non-polymerizable liquid crystal compound which has a cyclohexane ring as a structural unit. In the formula, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>each independently represent any of formula (R-1) to formula (R-15), X<SP POS="POST">1</SP>to X<SP POS="POST">12</SP>each independently represent hydrogen atom, trifluoromethyl group, trifluoromethoxy group, methyl group, chlorine atom or fluorine atom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
