<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device that can be easily customized. <P>SOLUTION: An array type processor unit (300) comprises processor units (310) arranged in a matrix manner, each of the processor units including a processor element (330) and a programmable switch (320). The processor element (330) has a first computing unit (332) of a plural bit width and a second computing unit (333) of a predetermined bit width narrower than that of the plural bit width. Connection configurations of the first computing unit (332) and the second computing unit (333) can be changed according to configuration information set in a configuration information memory (340). The programmable switch (320) inputs and outputs pieces of data having the plural bit width and the predetermined bit width from wirings to the processor element on the basis of the configuration information.
