<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily configure a power storage function by performing charging/discharging control on a storage battery by using a boosting circuit that constitutes a connection box. <P>SOLUTION: A connection box comprises a boosting circuit and a switching unit. The boosting circuit boosts generated power of a solar battery in such a manner that the generated power becomes a maximum value or a value in the vicinity thereof. The switching unit switches whether to cause output of the boosting circuit to join DC power of a refrigeration cycle for operating a refrigerant compressor at a desired running speed by converting AC power of a system into DC power and then supplying the DC power through an inverter circuit to the refrigerant compressor, or to supply the output of the boosting circuit to a power conversion unit in which the AC power of the system is converted into AC power synchronized to a frequency of the system and superimposed on the system. The connection box further comprises a circuit which enables the output of the boosting circuit to be supplied to a storage battery and a circuit which enables the storage battery to discharge to an input side of the boosting circuit. In a time zone where a load of the refrigeration cycle becomes large, the switching unit is changed over to the refrigeration cycle side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
