<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC booster capable of continuous boosting output while insulating input and output without using a transformer, and a photovoltaic power generation system using it. <P>SOLUTION: The DC booster includes at least one stage of boosting DC/DC converters 30, 40, and 50 for boosting the output of a DC power source 10. The boosting DC/DC converters 30, 40, and 50 respectively include transformer-less first capacitor boosting circuits 31A, 41A, and 51A and second capacitor boosting circuits 31B, 41B, and 51B for performing boosting operations by utilizing charge and discharge of a capacitor, and route changeover switches 32, 33, 42, 43, 52, and 53 for switching respective input/output routes of the first capacitor boosting circuits 31A, 41A, and 51A and the second capacitor boosting circuits 31B, 41B, and 51B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
