PURPOSE: A display device based on user motion and a display method for the same using a camera and a depth measurement sensor are provided to calculate viewing angles based on photographed image data and depth data and alter a display mode of the image according to the viewing angles, thereby facilitating comfortable watching of 3D(Three Dimensional) image. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(210) receives photographed image data from a camera and depth data from depth measurement sensor which senses a user's motion. A control unit(240) calculates viewing angles of the user by using the photographed image data from the camera and the depth data and alters a display mode according to the calculated viewing angles. The control unit calculates a distance from a display device to the user's face by using the depth data and calculates the viewing angle of the user by using location of the face and the distance to the face.
