<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator remote monitoring system surely performing data communication between a remote monitoring device and a monitoring center without inviting an increase in line using time or increase in connection fees. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring device 3 of this system performs a line check report for confirming a use propriety state of a line in a public radio line network (public line network 6) when a detection result of an open and closed state of a shutter 2 is an open state, and when there is the closed state, transmits report delay information indicating that the line check report has been delayed and time zone information of the closed state together with the line check report to a remote monitoring center 7 through a radio communication device 4 and the public radio line network. In the remote monitoring center 7, the received time zone information is determined to be a communication impossible time zone, sets the line check report time to perform the line check report avoiding the time zone to the monitoring device 3, and also performs data collection for receiving operation data of an escalator 1 from the monitoring device 3 avoiding the time zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
