<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple-pipe filter capable of effectively purifying particulates while suppressing consumption of a catalyst material. <P>SOLUTION: The multiple-pipe filter includes a plurality of inflow cells 36 in which pipe shafts are arranged along with gas passages and outlet parts 35 located downstream of gas flow are closed, a plurality of outflow cells 34 in which pipe shafts are arranged along with gas passages and inlet parts 33 located upstream of gas flow are closed, and partition walls 38 which partition the inflow cells 36 and the outflow cells 34 and have micropores for capturing fine particles by passing through a gas 40, and also includes a catalyst material which is supported so as to reduce the supported amount in accordance with the direction from the inlet parts 33 toward the outlet parts 35 in inflow layers 42 which are layers of the inflow cells 36 of the partition walls 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
