PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means which if a content acquired from a server device contains a stereoscopic image, allows proper stereoscopic display of the image.

SOLUTION: On a lower LCD 12 of a game device 10, the content acquired from a WEB server 100 is displayed as a plane view. The game device 10 acquires an image contained in the content displayed as the plane view and determines whether the acquired image is a stereoscopic image. If the image is determined to be a stereoscopic image as a result of this, the image is stereoscopically displayed on an upper LCD 22.
