<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system capable of easily generating printing data to be processed by a printer which controls output of the printing data on the basis of identification information of a user, a printing data converter, a printing data conversion method, a computer program, and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system comprises: a printer 31 for controlling printing of printing data on the basis of identification information of a user; and a printing data converter 21 for receiving the printing data not including the identification information of the user, and converting the received printing data to the printing data to be printed by the printer 31. The printing data converter 21 includes: a user database 233 for holding the identification information of the user corresponding to the identification information of a receiving port when receiving the printing data; and a user information addition part 231 for reading the identification information of the user corresponding to the identification information of the receiving port when the printing data is received from the user database 233 and adding it to the printing data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
