<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a pattern phase difference film easily in a large amount, which can be applied to a three-dimensional image display employing a passive method. <P>SOLUTION: A pattern phase difference film is manufactured by transferring a convex-concave shape formed on a metal mold 13 for transfer onto a transparent sheet material to form an alignment film. On the premise of the manufacturing, a sheet-like mask is arranged on the surface of a base material to carry out rubbing processing, and the mask is then shifted relative to the base material to repeat the rubbing processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
