<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic auto tensioner for auxiliary machine structured in such a manner that a damping load is small and the damping load can be constrained from lowering even under a condition of a high vibration amplitude and low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A leak gap 26 formed between a sleeve 4 and a sliding surface of a rod 5 is determined as 15 to 45 μm, while an opening/closing amount of a check ball 20 is determined as 0.4 to 1.0 mm. As the oil sealed inside a cylinder 1, a low viscosity oil is adopted whose kinetic viscosities at 40 and 100 degrees C are 20 to 50 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/s and 5 to 10 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/s, respectively, thus constraining the damping load from lowering even under a condition of the high vibration amplitude and low temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
