<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image having good image quality preventing a rising phenomenon from standing out when a clear image is formed on an image by using UV ink. <P>SOLUTION: A printing apparatus includes: a head section discharging a first ink which is cured due to irradiation of light and a second ink which is a clear ink cured due to irradiation of light; and an irradiation section which emits the light. A first image is formed by irradiating the first ink discharged onto a medium with the light, and a second image is formed by irradiating the second ink discharged onto the first image and the medium with the light. A region where the first image is formed is included in a region where the second image is formed, and the discharge amount of the second ink per unit region is equal to or less than that of the first ink per unit region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
